No. "Suppose" is my first published book. The first children's story I wrote was called "Tootsie Comes Home." It was about my son Lee's, favorite teddy bear who went with him everywhere. The story was not published, however, it is still a family favorite and we still have Tootsie the bear.
I wrote "Suppose" because I like to pretend and imagine how things would be, if they were different. For example, suppose your nose was on your toes, then how would you know where a tissue goes?
Yes. My husband Bruce, and I have written a middle grade novel. Presently, we are under contract with an agent, named, Jay Poynor, who sends our work to publishers.
Before I was an author, I was a toddler teacher for many years. And I also did a dramatic arts program with preschoolers. But my most important job was and always will be a "mom."
We used to have an African Hingeback Tortoise named "Sol." He now lives with our son Lee, in Hoboken, New Jersey. We see him often when we visit our son.
